I absolutely love working with our office staff and caregivers! Each one has been individually selected for their position based primarily on our Core Values: Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence! If an interviewee doesn’t embody all of these values from the get-go, we do not hire them! Because of this, our team is solid and I trust that everyone comes to work each day, ready to help people and change lives. At the end of the day, I feel great pride and satisfaction knowing that collectively, the staff at Solutions is improving the quality of life for our clients through acts of kindness and grace.

I came to Solutions 8 years ago to help serve our seniors and community. I love working for Solutions because of the number of lives we enhance, providing advocacy and comprehensive care. Our team of compassionate registered nurses, social workers, caregivers, and office staff rally around the clients to ensure the best quality of life. I am grateful to be a part of a team that embodies our core values with honor and always feel supported. Thank you, Solutions, for allowing me to be a part of this journey!

My involvement with Solutions started at its origin 12+ years ago in my garage… My mom and the owner of Solutions, Heather Michael, has a passion for improving the lives of our seniors and their families by keeping them in the home. She started this business with a dream of being the best agency in our region and beyond. As her son, and now the Director of Operations, I have the privilege of building an identity in our company and office to see families and friends of aging individuals flourish in their relationships without getting bogged down by difficult decisions and circumstances.

I love Solutions because our team lives into ICARE with vigor and continues to be the highest ranked agency based on our google reviews. We have nothing to prove because we are who we are and our community is strengthened through our service. My passions and drive come from my Christian belief system which motivates me every day to see the voiceless represented, and the memories of each senior’s life treasured.

One of my good friends had Cerebral Palsy all her life and the last two years she was diagnosed with ALS. She had no family support; that’s when I stepped in. I assisted with getting her into a group home. She and I enjoyed our weekly visits, taking walks together and just being a companion to her. Those moments changed my perspective on life. Solutions allows us to provide the best care possible to those in need. The relationships that are gained during the toughest moments of their lives and being able to be a resource for family members. We continue to learn how we can best serve our community and the families, giving them peace of mind, trusting that their loved one is well cared for.

I’ve been with Solutions since 2015. I started as a caregiver and over the years I’ve worked my way up to the position of Care Coordinator. My passion for helping seniors in our community is what drives me to do my best work. I love listening to my client’s life stories, finding them solutions to better the quality of their lives, and seeing them smile while making memories, all in the comfort of their home. Solutions is a place where employees value their work. We have compassion, respect, and hold ourselves to a higher standard.

Taking care of others has been ingrained in me since I was a child, and I’ve always known I wanted to make a career out of it. Every day I get to help our community’s seniors by enhancing their quality of life and help their loved ones navigate the next chapter which allows them more time to just be family. I absolutely love what I do, the people I get to help, and the people I work next to.

I started as a caregiver with Solutions because I wanted to provide the companionship and care that my loved one received during her time of need. I was able to provide that for others in similar situations. The weekend care coordination position became available and I decided to further my career in healthcare. I appreciate how hard the team works to make sure our clients and caregivers’ needs are being met.

I have been in the senior care industry for over 20 years.  When I applied to work for Solutions 8 yrs ago, I just knew this was where I wanted to be to make a difference in our seniors’ lives.  The culture at Solutions is like none other.  The employees and clients are not just numbers, they are like family.  I love what I do and everyone I am blessed to work with.  We take pride in our core values and live by them!!  We continually strive for excellence in all we do! There is no better place to work than Solutions!!!!

I chose to be a part of the Solutions Team because the name says it all; Solutions! Whether it is for a client or an employee, being part of the team is knowing you are taken care of. I am able to maintain my profession in Human Resources while learning about another side of the medical field I have not worked in. Every day here is an opportunity to learn.

I relocated to my husband’s hometown here in Kennewick from Canby, Oregon in August 2021, where I had worked in LTC Facilities for over 16 years. I interviewed with a few places, and even considered leaving the industry until I met with the team here at Solutions. The moment I walked through the doors I felt welcomed, valued, and appreciated, even though I had no experience with Home Care. The team could see things in me that I didn’t even see or even know about myself. The challenges and rewards have most definitely affected me in a positive way. I have watched as caregivers learn and grow and blossom into the best and most compassionate, caring, and valued assets to our team! Solutions continually provides training, guidance, and support to our caregivers which helps them transform into the best and brightest and most compassionate caregivers in the community. Clients and their family can rest assured that they are in the best hands. Solutions truly values each person that walks through our doors.

Solutions has made me feel welcome and appreciated since day one! I originally came on board as a caregiver and then advanced to the recruiter position. Having the opportunity to be part of the office team and bring in the new caregivers who are going to be caring for our clients is a big responsibility! I love being the welcoming face for all of our new staff! The staff here have such caring hearts; they have continued to show me support and encouragement every day! I am happy to be part of a team that cares about their staff and their clients like their own family! I look forward to my future with Solutions!

Solutions is the space where serving the vulnerable in our community and utilizing the skills and practices of a registered nurse dovetail. As an RN, the ability to be a professional in my field without sacrificing the heart behind “why we do what we do” is what makes working with Solutions exciting and fulfilling. The team is energetic, passionate, and constantly striving for excellence for the sake of the clients and their loved ones. The ability to offer Care Management services from professional social workers, nursing oversight, and personalized care from the home care team is why our team can respond with confidence to the needs in our community: “We have the Solution.”

What brought me to Team Solutions was Care Management. This service is unique to Solutions and allows us to serve our clients at a higher level. Being a part of a team that puts their all into caring for others is wonderful. Each member of our staff is enthusiastic, compassionate, and kind. I am excited to be a part of a team that can find a solution to any problem.

Working with our aging population has by far been the most rewarding thing I have done with my career. I was raised by my Grandparents and served as their caregivers. In doing that, I learned patience and gained a sense of gratitude at an early age. Being instrumental in helping a family to keep their loved one at home and offering a solution during a potentially stressful time is invaluable. I look forward to continuing to help families, while promoting dignity and respect for their loved ones.
