Your schedule

Each client is authorized for a set number of hours, and those hours become a standing shift. Same client, same days, same hours. Your family knows when you are working, and time off stays off.

How the schedule works

Local placement

Clients across Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and Grandview. Because this is shift work in one home, your drive is a single commute rather than a route between visits. We tell you where a shift is before you accept it.

Always know when you are on and when you are off

Most job ads are vague about scheduling. Here is exactly how ours works. We match you with a shift that fits your life, and then we hold it.

That means you can plan. No Sunday night text about Monday, no calls on your day off, no reshuffle.

Over time you stop being a stranger reading a care plan and become the person who knows that house.

The same shift, week after week

This week
Next week
The week after
And the next

One example: a 12 hour day shift, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the same client each time. Your shift depends on which client hours are open. Once it is yours, it stays yours.

You could be working your first shift in as little as 3 days

We don’t want to make you wait. 3 business days is our goal from when you submit your application to working your first shift.

Nurse-owned

We’re proud to be a nurse-owned, family-run business. Our founder, Heather, and her son Robbie are both experienced RNs who have spent years in the field. Having done the work ourselves, we know what it takes to deliver great care without the burnout. That means you get a leadership team that actually understands your day-to-day, advocates for your schedule, and genuinely supports you every step of the way.

Questions nurses ask

What is a DOL or white card client?

A former Hanford or energy worker whose nursing care is paid for by the federal government through the EEOICPA program. They are approved for a set number of authorized hours. The care is free to them, and we bill the program directly.

Do I need experience with white card cases?

No. If you have it, you will pick this up immediately. If you do not, we will walk you through the program side. The clinical work is standard private duty nursing.

Is this home health?

Not in the Medicare sense. This is private duty shift nursing: one client, one shift, in their home. If you are used to intermittent visit work with a caseload and a route, this is a different job.

How many hours can I get?

It depends on the client’s authorized hours and which shifts are open. Some of our nurses work full-time with overtime available; others pick up a shift or two a week. Tell us what you are looking for and we will tell you honestly what we have.

When do benefits start?

Health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) and PTO after 8 weeks at 30 or more hours a week. Colonial Life after 8 weeks at 20 or more hours a week.

What happens after I apply?

We call you to talk through the open shifts we actually have and whether one fits. Then onboarding and new employee orientation. Move quickly through those and you could be on shift within three business days.
